I scanned the opinion, and if I read it correctly (never a certain bet), the court actually cited Bush v. Gore in its ruling. Won't THAT be a sticky wicket for SCOTUS....
Lex, Lex, Lex, there you go again citing logic. Citing Bush v. Gore was stupid in the first place since Scalia made it clear in the opinion that the decision was only to be applied to that particular election theft, an was not to be used as precedent. (Some would argue that kind of flies in the face of the purpose of the SCOTUS, but what do I know.
I was just curious to see if Scalia would be dick enough to use the decision to hand the election to another Republican. |
